Posting this because I really needed it before I purchased this. lol but worked great as long as you blow dry and detangle very well! Made straightening my hair a breeze. I still had to use a traditional flat iron to straighten my edges and to go over some hard to reach places. But I am happy with the purchase. Also heats ip nicely and is easy to use.

This hot comb heats up fast. I like the digital temperature gage as I like knowing exactly what temperature I’m using - it goes to 450 degrees which is what works best for me to straighten my curly hair. It takes about 30% of the time to smooth compared to using my DNA flat iron, Dyson Air Wrap and Revlon air brush. Sometimes I don’t care if my hair comes out straight or wavy, I just want to delete frizz. This does that quickly. To get my hair smooth I hold the ends then relatively slowly move the hot comb/brush with pressure from root to end.I won’t buy a hot tool that doesn’t at least 425 degrees. In the past I’ve had to buy pro tools at beauty supply stores as no hair tool in a drugstore could smooth my corse curly hair. This works like a pro tool = great. I find that it smooths the cuticle so it can stay smooth a bit longer than a simple blow out.

I'm loving this item.This straightening brush was recommended to me by a friend who thought it would make straightening my hair easier than using the traditional flat iron.I will say it has taken me a few tries to get used to a brush versus a flat iron, but so far it has proved to be easier and does a great job at smoothing out my wavy hair.It heats up quickly and if I section my hair and brush it in sections, it works even better.It is much less time consuming and I love how smooth my hair looks.Well worth it!
